Tupac Shakur Death Anniversary: Stars Remember Rapper on Twitter

Tupac may be gone but he is not forgotten, and many celebrities took to Twitter to remember the rapper on the 17th anniversary of his death Friday.

Pac‘s life was cut short at the peak of his fame when the legendary star was killed in a still-unsolved drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996.

On September 13, many fans paused to remember the life and his legacy of 2Pac.

The acclaimed rapper and actor was only 25 at the time of his death, but he remains one of the most influential artists in hip-hop if not music history.

Tupac legacy lives on in his friends, family and fans, which include fellow stars:

E-40: “R.I.P Tupac we miss u love one! RT @BootsRiley: Me, Tupac, and @E40.

Jermaine Dupri:  “QUOTE OF THE DAY: ‘Surrounding yourself with dwarfs does not make you a giant’ - Tupac”

Mike Epps: "Rip to the best rapper ever TUPAC SHAKUR . Still riding for you”
