Miley Cyrus has released the director's cut of her "Wrecking Ball" music video.
How does it differ from the original?
Well... there's no swinging wrecking ball. There is no sledgehammer licking. There's no sighting of Miley Cyrus naked anywhere to be found.
The video simply consists of one long close-up of the artist, emotion growing, tears flowing, ballad belted out. It's almost beautiful and it definitely raises the question of why Miley didn't simply release this version from the beginning. Watch now:
