Vanessa Hudgens dated Zac Efron for many years and starred opposite the actor in High School Musical.
But the actress tells Cosmo on Campus that she never wrestled with the sort of drug issues that plagued her ex earlier this year. She simply has no interest in that lifestyle.
“I have never liked partying. I love dancing, but that’s as far as it goes," Hudgens tells the magazine, adding/explaining:
"It’s tough because a lot of clubs are everything I loathe, especially in L.A. They’re always very ego-filled and people get up to mischief. It’s just not a pure environment.â€
But while you won't catch Vanessa smoking or shooting up, you may see her with a wine glass on occasion.
“If there’s a problem, a bottle of wine goes a long way," she tells the publication. "It’s the same after a long week of filming - a glass of wine and a bit of chocolate makes me happy."
Hudgens also says she may go to college someday and major in film or photography.
For now, though she's enjoying life in Hollywood and she has BFF Ashley Tisdale to look out for her at all times.
“Ashley always says she wants me to be more cautious. She thinks I’m too trusting. I think I’m fine the way I am, but she thinks I have a tendency to float around on a cloud, which I kind of do.â€
