Former Smash director Michael Morris has allegedly been kicked out of the house by his wife, Mary McCormack, for hooking up with Katharine McPhee.
The actress, 45, threw Morris out of their Los Angeles home late Sunday over the photos that emerged of Katharine McPhee and Michael Morris kissing.
Morris, who was kissing McPhee, 29, in plain sight (sorry), informed his wife of 10 years that incriminating photos were taken and would be online.
Page Six also claims that Morris, who has three young daughters with McCormack, knew this because he attempted to buy the photos himself.
Katharine is also married, though reports say she and Nick Cokas, who married in February 2008, have been amicably separated for six months.
It's not clear what Morris tried to do to secure the images or why he was rebuffed, but he came up empty and TMZ ran the story earlier in the week.
Reps for all parties involved did not return requests for comment.
Smash was canceled last spring after two lowly rated seasons. McCormack's latest series, Welcome to the Family, was canceled earlier this month.
Both shows aired on NBC, America's least watched network.
