Doutzen Kroes bikini photos. They are a thing of beauty.
But the brunette bombshell behind these photos spoke to The New York Post over the weekend and made an unexpected admission: she sometimes wonders whether her job sets a bad example for today's youth.
âSometimes it makes me feel guilty that I am in this profession that makes certain girls insecure,â the Victoriaâs Secret model told the newspaper.
Kroes - who actually was involved in an airbrushing controversy last October - emphasized that models are subjected to hours under hair and makeup.
Young women should not make themselves crazy trying to look like her or Kate Upton or any number of other well-known faces. Why? Because the women themselves don't look like... well, themselves.
âI always say, I donât look like the picture," Kroes explains. "If you put me in bad light with no hair and makeup, itâs not good... I wake up sometimes like, this is not what I see when I look at the magazine, who is this visitor in the bathroom?â
Of course, Doutzen can't feel too guilty about anything, considering she has no plans to give up modeling.
But at least it's nice to hear someone in her position make these kinds of admissions and try to convince others in her gender to be satisfied with their figures.
