A waiter at Carrabba's Italian Grill in Overland Park, Kansas didn't merely get stiffed on a tip by a couple of customers this week.
He was told that his sexuality would cause him to rot in Hell.
As reported by KMBC 9 News, the unnamed server went to pick up the bill from a meal after one of his tables cleared out, only to find a message scrawled on the back that read:
"Thank you for your service, it was excellent. That being said, we cannot in good conscience tip you, for your homosexual lifestyle is an affront to God. May God have mercy on you."
The difficult-to-believe gesture quickly spread on social media, with many locals offering to at least pick up the man's lost tip. But he says this isn't necessary.
"The offers to help pay me back are much appreciated, but not at all needed," says the waiter. "I'd prefer to let my work ethic and my service do the talking, nothing else."
This is the latest revolting receipt-related story.
