The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has a new, full-length trailer that picks up right where the first film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, left off.
Biblo, Gandalf, Thorin, and the rest of the dwarves narrowly escaped an encounter with goblins, orcs, and wargs, and the Lonely Mountain is within sight.
The second leg of the adventure features some of the books' iconic characters, such as Beorn, Bard, and of course Smaug, the legendary thief.

Just like the previous The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug trailer a few months back, this one saves its look at the titular Smaug until the very end.
Benedict Cumberbatch provides the thunderous voice for Smaug, adding more gravitas to a trailer that didn't lack for production value to start with.
The new film also features the return of Orlando Bloom as Legolas, the elf that would eventually accompany Frodo on his quest to destroy THE RING.
In The Desolation of Smaug, he's in middle of a conflict between Thranduil, played by Lee Pace, and Tauriel, a new character played by Evangeline Lilly.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens December 13.
