Cher is sorry about comments she made this week regarding Miley Cyrus.
Well... not so much sorry. But the veteran artist does wish she had chosen her words more carefully.
After slamming Cyrus' poor dancing and terrible body, Cher took to Twitter and backtracked a bit yesterday, writing:
"I'm a little ashamed didn't keep my big Opinionated mouth shut.... What I should have said (is) 'I didn't like (the performance) that much, but she's Pushing The Envelope, being an ARTIST. She's talented,& DIDNT COMMIT A FELONY. But somehow my ego had 2 get ITS 2 CENTS IN!"
But Cher was also quick to say "this is Not an apology."
Instead, it's "a Reminder,that if I don't practice my principles,I loose Them."
We somehow doubt Cyrus is sweating the diss at the moment anyway. She has other things to either worry about (Liam Hemsworth macking on Eiza Gonzalez) or celebrate (her first-ever number-one single).
