No one expected Jessica Simpson to get pregnant again seven months after the birth of her first child, daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson -- but baby number two was, er, highly probable for the Fashion Star mentor and fiance Eric Johnson. As the 32-year-old singer and designer explained to Ellen DeGeneres on the Wednesday March 7 episode of Ellen, "Apparently protection was just thrown out the window!"

Regardless, Simpson explained, "We're happy . . . We were definitely extremely shocked." And readjusting -- again -- to the experience of pregnancy while raising little Maxwell, 10 months, was rough. "Maxwell was our focus and then I was puking and lying on the couch," Simpson said.

The second go-round, physically, has been rougher for Simpson, she admitted." This pregnancy is the complete opposite. Like with Maxwell, I felt amazing. Like I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted," she recalled. "I had a lot of energy. This time around . . . I'm like exhausted. Eating Tums. That's my snack of choice."

The Weight Watchers spokeswoman is also making this experience "super healthy" in terms of her diet, too. "I'm not really craving as much and I know how hard it is to get off so I’m trying to make healthier, wiser decisions."

Her man approves of Simpson no matter what her size, she added. "I can gain as much weight and I will have a husband to be that loves me," she said. Watch the clip now -- and check out Simpson's growing pregnancy curves.
