They may be gone, but they're not forgotten -- even if they weren't included during the Oscars' annual "In Memoriam" segment. During the 85th Annual Awards, the show paid tribute to many stars who passed away in the last year, including actor Michael Clarke Duncan, screenwriter Norah Ephron and composer Marvin Hamlisch.
Due to time constraints, however, many notable Hollywood icons -- like Andy Griffith and Larry Hagman, both of whom had a slew of films in addition to their legendary TV roles -- were not featured during the ABC telecast.

The Academy published a supplementary online gallery to include additional actors, performers and filmmakers who passed away, including Ann Rutherford, Donna Summer and Susan Tyrrell. Even so, the 114 slides did not include Phyllis Diller, Sherman Hemsley, Russell Means, Lupe Ontiveros, Robin Sachs, Jerry Nelson and Conrad Bain.

During the moving tribute, a Donna Karan-clad Barbra Streisand performed Hamlisch's "The Way We Were."
